UPTU UPSEE PAPER PATTERN

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) exam will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) on April 18 and 19 for admissions in B.Tech B.Pharm M.C.A B.Arch B.FAD BHMCT etc cources to colleges affiliated to the UPTU.

Paper pattern for UPSEE: 


Paper I: It will consist of 50 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, each. A total of 150 questions in this section will carry 600 total marks.

Paper II: It will consist of 50 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, each. A total of 150 questions in this section will carry 600 total marks.

Paper III: It will consist of 50 objective type questions from AG-I, AG-II and AG-III, each. A total of 150 questions in this section will carry 600 total marks.

Paper IV: It will consist of 50 objective type questions from Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity, each. A total of 100 questions in this section will carry 500 total marks.

Paper V: This paper will carry 75 objective type questions, carrying 300 marks in total. (Aptitude Test for general)

Paper VI: This paper will carry 75 objective type questions, carrying 300 marks in total. (Aptitude Test for diploma holders in Engineering)

Paper VII: This paper will carry 75 objective type questions, carrying 300 marks in total. (Aptitude Test for diploma holders in Pharmacy)

SIMPLE STEPS TO FILL On-Line Application Form 


Read The Information information and check you eligibility and other requirements carefully. Application to UPSEE-2015 can be made Online through following stages.

1. Filling of particulars in Application Form as per eligibility

2. Payment of Examination fee either through e-Challan or through credit /debit cards

3. Uploading scanned images of the Photograph, signature and thumb Impression

4. Printing of the “Confirmation Page”

5. Sending the “Confirmation Page” to the University at given address

Before, a candidate starts filling the On-Line application Form, he/she is supposed to be ready with the following:

(i) A personal mobile phone number and/or a personal E-Mail id.

(ii) Photograph: A clear scanned image of his/her recent color passport size photograph (3.5cm X 4.5cm) in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 20 KB. The photograph must be front facing to the camera in a manner that full face shows. The background should be either white or off-white and uncluttered. The photograph should be colour with name of the candidate printed on it as shown in the sketch below. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination,


(iii) A clear scanned image of his/her signature (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 10 KB.

(iv) A clear scanned image of his/her left thumb impression (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 10 KB

Once ready with this, he/she may proceed to following steps. 

Step1: Filling of particulars in Application Form:

Visit the website http://www.upseeuptu2015.in or http://www.seeuptu.in and through the link “Apply Online” followed by the link “Online application Form for UG Courses” for B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA or “Online application Form for PG Courses” for MBA/MCA/MAM. Fill up the particulars in the application form as per your eligibility.

Review all the entries filled by you by clicking on “NEXT to REVIEW” button” before submitting it.

In case of mistakes, correct the same through “back” button and again review all the entries once again before submitting it. Here, it is clarified that you may change the entries as many times as you want before submitting the Form by clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button.

Note that, once “FINAL SUBMIT” button is pressed and application form is submitted, entries in the form can not be modified/changed/corrected in any way. Therfore before clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button, make it doubly sure that all the entries are filled correctly.

Step 2: On submission of application, a registration number will be generated. Please note down this registration number for all future correspondences.

Step 3: Payment of Examination Fee

A candidate can pay examination fee in one of the following manner.

(i) Through Bank-Challan

 (ii) Through Credit Card / Debit Card

If you want to make payment through bank-Challan then, click the required link (download e-challan) to generate the challan in triplicate. Go to the designated bank with challan for the payment on next day (Day 2), if the form is filled till 5 pm. In case application is filled after 5 pm, go to the bank with challan for the payment on Day 3 to the Bank.

The bank will provide you a transaction number. Note down this transaction number for future correspondences.

If you want to make payment through Credit Card / Debit Card, then click the link “payment though credit/debit card” and make the payment. All VISA/Master cards are accepted. You should be ready with your credit, debit card details. The payment in this mode can be done on the same day (Day-1). A transaction number is generated. Note down this transaction number for future correspondences

Step 4: Uploading od scanned Images

If the payment is made through credit card / debit card then proceed for uploading of scanned images Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression, may be immediately on the same day.

If payment is made through e-challan, visit the website http://www.upseeuptu2015.in or http://www.seeuptu.in on next day of the payment (Day 3 or Day 4) for uploading of scanned images Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression through the link “Uploading of Scanned Images of and Printing of the “Confirmation Page”

Review the uploaded images by clicking on “NEXT to REVIEW” button on the page before submitting it. In case of mistakes, correct the same through “back” button and again review once again before submitting it. Once satisfied, submit the same by clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button.

Step 5: Printing of “Cofirmation Page”

Once you are done with uploading of images, the “confirmation page” is generated. Take the printout of the “Confirmation Page” in two copies.

Step6: One copy of the “Confirmation Page” has to kept safely by the candidate for future use. The “Confirmation Page” will contain a “Registration Number”. Note down this registration number for all future correspondence.

Step7: Take the second copy of Confirmation Page, paste your recent passport size photograph, put your signature & thumb impression (left thumb), parent/ guardian signature at the space provided on the confirmation page. Post the duly signed completed confirmation page along with copy of challan (if the payment is made through bank challan) so as to reach

HOW TO FILL OFF LINE APPLICATION FORM ( UG COURSES) 


The On-Line application to UPSEE-2015 can be done as per clause 17 of the Information Brochure as given below.

AVAILIBILITY OF INFORMATION BROCHURE AND SUBMISSION OF OFF-LINE APPLICATION FORMS

The Information Brochure will be available ON LINE on the websites http://www.upseeuptu2015.in and http://www.seeuptu.in or http://www.uptu.ac.in only. The same can be downloaded and/or printed for reference by the candidates.

The application form can be filled in one of the following manner.

(A) On-Line through Internet from any place of convenience

OR

(B) Off-Line through any designated Helpdesk (Affiliated Institution of U.P. Technical University, Lucknow). Lists of Helpdesks are available on the website: http://www.upseeuptu2015.in and http://www.seeuptu.in or http://www.uptu.ac.in.

SUBMISSION OF OFF-LINE APPLICATION FORMS (Through Help Desks)

The off-line application can be made from 10.A.M., 25th Feb 2015 till 10:00 pm of 25 th March 2015 by filling up OFF-LINE application form through designated Help Desks at various cities. The list of Help Desks is available on website http://www.upseeuptu2015.in and http://www.seeuptu.in or http://www.uptu.ac.in .

The OFF-LINE application form submission consists of following three simple steps.

(i) Filling up of OFF-Line Application Form at the Help desk

(ii) Submission of Photograph, Signature & Thumb Impression.

(iii) Payment of Examination Fee and print your Confirmation Page.

Before, a candidate starts filling the OFF-LINE application Form, he/she is supposed to be ready with the following:

(i) A personal mobile phone number and/or a personal E-Mail id.

(ii) Photograph: His/Her recent passport size color photographs (3.5cm X 4.5cm) with front facing to the camera in a manner that full face shows. The background should be either white or off-white and uncluttered. The photograph should be colour with name of the candidate printed on it as shown in the sketch below. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination.



Once ready with this, the candidate should fill Off-Line application form in following steps. 

Filling up of OFF-Line Application Form

(a) The candidate interested in filling Off-Line application form should report to any of the nearest Help Desk and ask for the application form of UPSEE-2015. The Application form will be made available free of cost by the Help Desk.

(b) The candidate should read the eligibility requirements etc. given in the information brochure available on the website http://www.upseeuptu2015.in and http://www.seeuptu.in or http://www.uptu.ac.in carefully and fill all the entries of the application form accordingly. The candidate must carry his/her passport size photograph (Two Copies) and should paste his photograph at the specified place in the application form. At the time of filling the application form, a candidate must posses following.

(i) Two passpost size color photograph

(ii) A personal mobile phone number and/or a personal E-Mail id. Mobile Phone number is an essential requirement.

The mobile phone number / E-Mail id of the candidate will be used by UPSEE-2015 for communication with the candidate at various stages of the examination process.

Payment of Examination Fee 


(a) The candidate must submit the duly filled Application Form at same Help Desk (Day-1). Once, the Help Desk completes the necessary formalities, the candidate may proceed for payment of examination fee.

(b) A candidate can pay examination fee in one of the following manner.

(i) Through Bank Challan (Through SBI Collect)

(ii) Through Credit Card / Debit Card

Payment through Bank Challan: If you are opting to pay through bank challan, the SBI Collect will provide you Bank Challan in triplicate. The challan will contain your credentials along with the required fees. You should take the challan along with your signature and the requisite fees to the designated bank for the payment on next day (Day 2) of filling the application form, if the form is filled till 5 pm. In case application is filled after 5 pm, the candidate is supposed to take the duly signed challan for payment on Day 3 to the Bank.

The bank will provide you a transaction number. Make sure that the transaction number is filled up correctly at the space provided on the challan. You are required to note down this transaction number for future correspondences.

Payment through Credit Card / Debit Card 

The candidate has also an option to deposit the examination fee through credit card / debit card. If you are opting to pay the examination fee through credit card/debit card, the help desk will provide you necessary internet connection to facilitate you to make the payment. All VISA/Master cards are accepted. You should be ready with your credit, debit card details. The payment in this mode can be done on the same day (Day-1).

Submission of Photograph, Signature & Thumb Impression and Printing of the “Confirmation Page” 


(c) The candidate, after depositing the examination fee, must report to the same Help Desk further next day (Day 3 or Day 4), submit his/her Photograph, Thumb impression & Signature to the Help Desk and collect Three copies of his/her “Confirmation Page” of the Application Form from the same Help desk.

(d) The candidate must keep a copy of “Conformation Page” with him. The “Confirmation Page” will contain a “Registration Number”. You are required to note down this registration number for all future correspondences.

(e) One of copy of the “Confirmation Page” has to kept safely by the candidate for future requirements and second copy of “Confirmation Page” has to be sent to the University at the given address after pasting his/her passport size photograph, putting his/her signature & thumb impression (left thumb) and parent/ guardian signature at the space provided on the confirmation page. The Third copy of Confirmation Page and a copy of “Bank Challan” will be kept by the “Help desk” along-with “Offline Application Form” filled in by candidate in his/her handwriting.


The examination fee is as under:-

For Male Candidates of General/ OBC  Rs. 800/-

For SC/ST Category and All Female Candidate Category Rs. 400/-

Note:  that the bank may additionally charge service charges plus applicable taxes while making the payment through Credit Card/Debit card or Challan.

The duly signed completed “Confirmation Page” along with copy of challan (if the payment is made through bank challan) must be sent by Speed Post / Registered Post only to

"The Registrar, (UPSEE-2015) Uttar Pradesh Technical University, I.E.T. Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226021"  so as to reach latest by 31 th March 2015 (5.00 PM).

The application form delivered by any other means shall not be accepted. The application forms received in the University after the last date will not be accepted.

UPSEE 2015 Application Form UPTU Online Registration

UPSEE 2015 Application Form Registration Details:  UPSEE 2015 application form registration will be available on www.uptu.ac.in under UPTU Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Registration(UPSEE). Uttar Pradesh Technical University(UPTU) conducts the UPSEE examination for the admission for multiple disciplines such as B.Tech, B.Pharm,BCA,B.Arch, B.Fad, MBA, M.C.A. UPSEE 2015 entrance exam is for state level technical colleges under UPTU in Uttar Pradesh. The candidates who wants to apply for UPSEE 2015 exam have generally two options to apply, first is online registration and second is offline, through post, candidates may buy upsee application form from authorized centers ( generally Head Post Office or GPO of your city ).

Important Dates: UPTU UPSEE 2015 dates will be announced soon. UPSEE exam will be held in April 2015 most probably 19th and 26th April 2015 ( exact dates are available when forms are declared by UPTU ).

How To Apply: The candidate who are wants to apply may fill this application form available from Jan-Feb 2015. Forms are available soon on the official university website and on authorized centers of UPTU. we will also inform you as soon as forms are available for candidates. According to previous year timing, application form for UPSEE will be available from any time between Jan-Feb 2015. The two options of application are online and offline . The candidates can fill the form through online and offline mode as per their convenience .

UPSEE 2013 Counselling Steps

UPTU UPSEE 2013 Counselling details: Document Verification and Choice Locking/ Seat Allotment of all qualified candidates, declared successful in the UP State Entrance Examination-2013, for admission to various courses (B.Tech /B.Tech (Ag.Engg) /B.Tech(Bio.Tech.) /B.Pharm. /B.Arch /B.HMCT /B.FAD /MAM/MCA/MBA, direct admission to second year of B.Tech /B.Pharm (Diploma stream/ B.Sc. stream) and admissions under JEE Main quota for first year B.Tech and under CMAT quota for first year MBA, will be done as per the given schedule. The procedure is described in the following section.

The counseling for this year comprises of following steps:

(a) Candidate desirous of seeking admission under JEE Quota/ CMAT quota must register online at website www.upsee.nic.in.

(b) Qualified candidate with UPSEE rank and those already registered on line under JEE (Main) quota and CMAT quota seat will report at designated document verification centers during specified time. A list of verification centers along with address and contact details are available on website www.upsee.nic.in .

(c) All candidates must bring original certificates along with a set of attested photocopy of these documents. All such candidates need to submit a bank draft for Rs. 500=00 as non-refundable counseling fee. The candidates are also required to provide their mobile phone number or on mobile phone number of their parents / guardian.

(d) During the verification, if some documents e.g., Rural Weightage Certificate/OBC Certificate/Armed Force Certificate/FF certificate, are not proper/correct, the candidate can produce the corrected/fresh certificate on the next day but before the last date of document verification.

(e) All candidates whose documents have been verified will get a one time password (OTP) on their registered mobile phones. If in any case, the candidate does not receive his OTP on his mobile phones within six hours, he/she may visit website www.upsee.nic.in for the instructions.

(f) The candidates whose document verification has been done, need not stay at verification centre. They may proceed to their home for choice submission. The choice submission can be done by the candidate online at website www.upsee.nic.in at a place of his/her convenience, using OTP issued to him.

(g) All choices must be filled during the specified time period. During this period a candidate is allowed to alter/modify or add new choices before locking them. The candidates must lock their choices after entering all the choices.

(h) All locked choices and their order of preference shall be used for seat allotment. The result of first round of seat allotment will be declared on a specified date.

(i) All candidates given a seat in the first round of allotment must proceed to their respective verification centre for confirmation of their seats. All such candidates are required to deposit a fee of Rs. 10000=00 in the form of bank draft. Confirmation of seat is very important step of admissions.

(j) Remember, there will be upgradation round after the first round of allotment of seats. But upgradation of seats would be done for only those who have confirmed their seats. Upgradation of seats become necessary when the higher rank holders leave their seats resulting in vacancies.

(k) During confirmation of seats, each candidate shall have option to participate in up-gradation round of counseling. It is advised that candidates should not forget to and opt for upgradation, if they so desire.

(l) Candidates who opt for up-gradation round of counseling, their already entered choices shall be processed again for up-gradation. The result of up-gradation round will be declared on a specified date in the schedule.

(m) If a candidate is successful in getting a better choice in the upgradation round, his/her earlier allotment shall deem to be cancelled. If a candidate is unsuccessful in up-gradation round, earlier allotted seat will be retained by him. This way, there is a chance for everyone to get the up-gradation of their allotted seats, even after they have confirmed their seats in the first round. Thus, number of choices should be large enough especially for those with lower ranks.
