UPSEE 2011 On Campus Counselling Choice Locking and Seat Allotment

UPSEE 2011 Choice Locking and Seat Allotment phase have been started from 20th July 2011, in this UPSEE Counselling schedule, First Phase of UPSEE 2011 Counselling including all category students ends on 27th July 2011. Then Second Phase of UPSEE 2011 Special Counselling or Re- Counselling in done for only reserved category (BC/SC/ST) students from 30th July 2011 to 1st August 2011. After the Special UPSEE Counselling , in Third Phase Additional Special UPSEE Re-Counselling is done for only ST candidates on 5th and 6th August 2011.

After completing First, Second and third phase , Second UPSEE Counselling in done for all category students From 10th August 2011 to 12th August 2011 for vacant seats in colleges. Students are welcome to discuss and ask any question related to UPSEE Counselling, Colleges and Schedule.

UPSEE 2011 Off campus counselling is the demo version of UPSEE On campus counselling, in which successful candidates of UPSEE 2011 can check their status, among other candidates, by using their UPSEE ranks. UPSEE Off campus counselling is very much similar to the On campus counselling, its date is yet to be declared by UPSEE board, On campus dates expected on 2nd July 2011.

Candidates can use UPSEE Off Campus Counselling as practice to the On Campus Counselling. Off Campus Counselling is not started yet, it may be started with in few days. UPTU GBTU MTU 2011 Counselling UPSEE Counselling Details 2011

After UPSEE 2011 results, successful students are waiting and preparing for their GBTU MTU (UPTU) UPSEE 2011 counselling for admissions in various technical,management etc courses in GBTU and MTU. Admissions in UPSEE 2011 counselling will be done according to the UPSEE 2011 rank or AIEEE 2011 ranks of students. All other details about UPSEE 2011 counselling are:

1: Verification of original documents would be done before start of counselling at the centres, Indicated on website www.mtu.ac.in & www.uptu.ac.in. The purpose would be to verify all relivent and essential certificates and documents of, qualifying examination, eligibility, category/ reservation certificate and weightage etc. of the candidate. He/she is required to come with all original certificates & documents along with a photocopy of each for submission. No candidate will be considered for admission if he/she does not show the original documents at the verification centre. The originals certificates & documents will be returned to candidates after verification.

2: On-line counselling will be conducted for admission to all courses and categories for the academic session 2011-12. Qualified and eligible candidate can fill his/her choice of course, institute, branch as per the directions and procedure of counselling detailed on website www.mtu.ac.in and www.uptu.ac.in through internet from his place of choice or at indicated counselling centres located in different cities of Uttar Pradesh. The information about counselling schedule, procedure etc., will also be available on the above websites.

3: Counselling shall be carried out for the qualified and eligible candidate of UPSEE- 2011 based on their Combined Rank, even if they belong to reserved category. Advantage of their reserved category rank shall be provided at the time of allotment of seats depending upon their eligibility.

4: Allotment of the seats (institute, course and branch) will be made on-line as per the schedule indicated on websites after the candidate has locked his/her choice as per availability based on his/her merit in UPSEE- 2011

5: Counselling letter of eligible candidate will be available on the websites before the start of the document verification.

6: In case the candidates do not submit the proper category/ reservation certificate in the prescribed proforma at the time of document verification the advantage of reserved category shall not be provided and they will be treated in General Category. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to bring the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only). The candidate must note that his/her domicile certificate in place of his/her parent’s certificate, is not acceptable and no request shall be entertained for relaxation.

7: The candidate called for counselling has to deposit Rs. 500/- as counselling fee and Rs. 5000/- as initial fee at the time of document verification. The counselling fee is non-refundable.
The fee of Rs. 5,500/- should be deposited at any of the nearest CBS branch of State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), or Bank of Baroda (BOB). The initial fee is adjustable against total fee payable at institution if candidate takes admission at allotted institute/university. In some cases, the initial fee may be refunded as per conditions laid down in clause-16.2. The initial fee of Rs. 5,000/- will be forfeited if the candidate does not take admission in allotted institution. Requests for return of this fee in such cases will not be entertained.

8: After allotment of seat, the candidate should take printout of his/her allotment letter and deposit chalan so that he can deposit the required amount as indicated on the chalan (Rs. 10000 for General and OBC Category and Rs. 4000 for SC&ST category Candidates) in any of the indicated CBS branched of SBI, BOB and PNB and report with the letter and copy of the deposited chalan endorsed by the bank to the institute for taking admission on or before the last date indicated in the allotment letter, failing which the allotted seat will automatically be cancelled. This part of college/institute fee (Rs. 10,000/Rs. 4,000) is adjustable against total fee payable at institution if candidate takes admission at allotted institute/university. This amount (Rs. 10,000/Rs. 4,000) will be forfeited if the candidate does not take admission in allotted institution and requests for return of this fee in such case will not be entertained.

9: If a candidate wishes to participate in counselling for more than one course, he/she has to deposite the counselling fee of Rs. 500/- only, provided he/she has deposited the fee as per clause-15.9.

10: Special drive for re-counselling will be conducted for filling the vacant seats of reserve categories. The detailed procedure for re-counselling of special drive shall be displayed on the websites at the time of counselling. During the special drive for re-counselling, fee will be collected in the following manner:
Rs. 5000/- as initial fee and Rs. 500/- as re-counselling fee from those who have not been allotted any seat in earlier counselling or not participated in earlier counselling or seat is cancelled in earlier counselling as per clause 15.9.
Rs. 500/- only as re-counselling fee from those who would like to shift to other choice.

All the above of fees can be deposited in the CBS Branches of any of the above banks (SBI, PNB, BOB)

Based on merit in UPSEE- 2011 the counselling will be conducted on-line through internet in two phases.

In Phase-I,

which will be mock couselling, the candidates should exercise their choices from any place of their convenience through internet to get an idea about indicative choice allotment.

In Phase-II which will be also on-line, the eligible candidates will be required to lock their choices and get their final allotment and download the letter.

For details of counselling schedule, candidates should visit the websites after declaration of result and notification for the same will also be issued in the national dailies.

All the latest instructions of AICTE, UP Govt. and MTU upto the date(s) of counselling shall be applicable.

According to G.O. no. 2426/Solah-1-2009-13(128)/2009 dated 10-09-2009 the admissions will be given on 60 percent seats in undergraduate courses to Physically Handicapped candidates in Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for handicapped, Kanpur and rest 40 percent seats for General candidates. The reservation policy of U.P. Govt. will be applicable on both types of seats. The above seats will be filled by the same couselling process as above.

REFUND RULES VALID FOR FEES DEPOSITED FOR UPSEE 2011 COUNSELLING

Counselling fee of Rs. 500/- will be non-refundable in all cases and no claim will be entertained for its refund at any stage.
Refund rules for initial fee of Rs. 5,000/- are as follows

1. Candidate withdraws before locking the choice. Rs. 5000/- is refundable.

The preparation before UPTU Counselling is very important. Students are advised to check all the required documents at UPTU Counselling for admission in B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Arch/B.HMCT/B.FAD/MBA/MCA. Here is the few points,that must be noted before going to uptu counselling.

UPTU Counselling 2010 Procedure for admissions in UPTU Colleges, through UPTU Counselling.After the SEE UPTU results, UP Technical University has declared UPTU counselling 2010 dates from 15th July to 20th August 2010. We will provide the UPTU Off Campus Counselling 2010 dates from 10th July to 13th July.

UPTU counselling procedure is divided in two phases:

Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line UPTU Counselling. (10th July to 13th July)

Phase-II: On-Campus On-line Counselling.(15th July to 20th August)

Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line Counselling

1. Soon after declaration of SEE-UPTU-2010 results, candidates found eligible for counselling are required to exercise their initial choices of branches and institutions through Internet (www.uptu.nic.in) from places of their convenience. The candidates may contact the nearby Counselling Centres (CC) for availing the Internet facility free of charge.

2. A candidate has to log on to the website http://www.seeuptu.nic.in and click ‘off-campus’ counselling button on the home page.

3. Login and password prompts will appear on the computer screen. Using the instructions given on the screen, candidates are to enter the login ID and password for which admit card would be required.

4. The procedure for exercising choices or seeking other information is menu driven. It guides the candidates through appropriate messages on the computer screen.

5. Information relating to institutions, disciplines (Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, MBA and MCA,Bio Tech.,BFAD), branches (e.g. Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Mechanical Engg. etc.) and categories (UPGE or UPSC or UPBC or UPST etc.) will be available through each relevant drop down menu for the purpose of exercising choices as well as for a feel of their competitive standing for their preferred choices among the logged-in candidates.

6. The name of counseling centre will be displayed on computer screen during Phase-I.

7. The candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times, based on the information which will appear on the computer screen. The candidates are free to consult their parents, teachers, friends and others for advice during Phase-I. The off-campus counselling will facilitate the selection of the most appropriate discipline, institution and branches / programme at candidates' rank and in their categories for submitting their final choices during on-campus counselling.

8. Choices will be processed and indicative seat allocation will be put on the website at frequent intervals. The dates of next update of indicative seat allocation will be specified on the website.

Phase-II : Part I - On-Campus On-Line Counseling First Counseling ( --.--.---- TO --.--.---- )

DAY ONE -The Counselling Day

1.On the first day of reporting (day one) as per schedule, the candidates will proceed to the document verification counters for verification of their certificates and admit card. Candidates are required to bring all certificates in original along with one photocopy of each and four copies of their photograph identical to the one pasted on the application form.

2. Thereafter the candidates will proceed to the fee collection counters. Initial deposit of Rs. 5000/- .will be collected at the computerized fee counters. The deposit is to be made through a crossed demand draft in favour of Finance Officer,G.B. Technical University A/C SEE–GPTU:2010 payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre. This amount will be transferred to the allotted institution and adjusted in the fee to be deposited there. Here it is to be noted that initial deposit will be through .Crossed Demand Draft and not Account Payee.Rs. 5,000/-

3.The initial deposit of fees Rs. 5000/- is transferable to institution concerned where the candidate is admitted. In case, the candidate does not take admission in the college concerned for any reasons, howsoever, this deposit will be forfitted.

4. A Counselling fees Rs. 500/- is to be paid in shape of an ACCOUNT PAYEE demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, G. B. Technical University A/C SEE–GBTU:2010 payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre. Please note that this amount is non-refundable and no any part of it will be refundable at any stage after the candidate has reported for on-campus on-line counselling at the counselling centre.

5. Any discrepancies related to date of birth, category, sub-category, sex and state of eligibility in the computer record generated on the basis of application form submitted earlier to SEE-GBTU-2010 by the candidate and in the original certificates will be rectified by the competent authorities at the counselling centre and their decision will be final in this regard. A printout of the modified record will be given to the candidate.

6. Any change in the candidate’s name, father’s name and the status of general category shall not be permitted under any circumstances.

7. Candidates must ensure in their own interest, that their state of eligibility, categories, sub-categories, if any, are mentioned correctly on the printout given to them.

8. After verification, the candidates will be required to exercise their final choices of seats on-line by using choice to indicate the choice of institution with Branch in order of their preference.

9. The current status of the available seats, will be continuously displayed for the guidance of candidates.

10. The candidates will get a printout for each of the choice forms submitted by them. A copy of each of these is to be signed by the candidate and returned after verification.

11. Candidates are advised to choose the college / branches taking into consideration that his choice on DAY-ONE and the subsequent allotment on DAY-TWO is once and final.

DAY TWO-The Allotment Day

1. The choices submitted through choice form on day one will be processed centrally on the following day (day two) and the list of candidates who are allotted an institution along with a branch for admission will be displayed on the website. These candidates will be called in order of Rank for the issue of seat allotment letter. The candidates must bring their copy of choice form along with fee receipt to get the allotment letter.

2. After allotment of seat the candidates are required to deposite a account payee Bank draft as part of college / institute fee Rs. 10,000/- for general & OBC category candidates and Rs. 4,000/- for SC & ST category candidates at respective counselling centre within three days of issue of allotment letter, failing which the seat alloted will be cancelled. Common Component of General Aptitude (GA) introduced in GATE 2010: Each GATE paper shall have a common General Aptitude (GA) component carrying 15 marks from GATE 2010.

Papers to be discontinued from GATE 2010 onwards:

Due to introduction of an independent paper in Biotechnology (BT), the Biotechnology section in Life Sciences (XL) paper has been discontinued from GATE 2010.
There will not be GATE 2010 examination in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PY) paper. For more information about the organization which will be conducting a GATE like examination for PY, the candidates are advised to visit GATE 2010 website from time to time.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.

Admission to post graduate programmes with MHRD and some other government scholarship/assistantship at engineering colleges/institutes in the country are open to those who qualify through GATE. GATE qualified candidates with Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy or Master degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications are eligible for Master/Doctoral programmes in Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy as well as for Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science.

To avail the scholarship, the candidate must additionally secure admission to such a postgraduate programme, as per the prevailing procedure of the admitting institution. GATE qualification, however, is not required for candidates with Master degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy who may be seeking scholarship/assistantship for relevant doctoral programmes.

The overall coordination and responsibility of conducting GATE 2010 lies with Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati , designated as the Organizing Institute for GATE 2010.

ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE

The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear in GATE :

Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.
Master degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.
Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AMICE(I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Gandhi Jayanti celebrates the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi popularly known as the Father of the Nation. Born on the 2nd of October 1869 at Porbandar in Gujarat. He is the man who played a significant role in achiveing independence for India from the British Empire with his simplicity and strong will power.

On this day, the President and Prime Minister, along with other eminent political leaders, pay homage at Raj Ghat - the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi. All the offices and schools, throughout the country, remain closed on this day.

Origin Of Gandhi Jayanti

Memories of Gandhi Jayanti go back a long way, to the school days. Gandhi Jayanti did not invite any celebrations. Still, it filled us with excitement, because the week starting on October 2 was special. That was the time when there would be little homework and even less classwork. Lessons effectively ended by lunch-hour, and in the second half of the day we would just 'work'. We would dig up the earth at the back of the school and plant saplings, we would go around to the hutments and deliver free medicines, we would paint a few walls...a variety of odd jobs that kept changing by the day, by the year.

Later, when the week gradually dwindled and disappeared under the pressure of academics there was a twinge of regret at the loss of good times. But while it lasted, we didn't know what it was all about, only that it was somehow connected with Gandhi Jayanti. We didn't ask, either - we loved what we were doing, and that was enough. It was much later that I found out the reason for the service that we had done. It was our way of remembering the service that Mahatma Gandhi had rendered to the nation, our way of carrying forward his philosophy of helping oneself by helping others, his dream of acquiring self-sufficiency, his mission of building a strong nation. It was our pledge that we would remember Mahatma Gandhi and his contribution to the building of the Indian nation.

History

If there was one man who was instrumental in acquiring independence for India, it was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. This was the man - slight, bespectacled and mild in manner - who controlled the National Movement for nearly three decades. A mass leader, he believed that he must identify himself with the masses he leads.

M K Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, a small town on the Gujarat coastline.

After his early education in India, he was sent to London where he qualified as a barrister. After attempting practice in Bombay for a few months, he went to South Africa as counsel for a wealthy Muslim client. Though he was supposed to return after the case was sorted, he continued his stay there till 1914, leading the Indians there against the apartheid of the British. His stint in India took a turn when national leader Gopal Krishna Gokhale initiated him into the Indian freedom movement. Gandhi, with his ideals of ahimsa, non-cooperation and satyagraha, soon established himself as the frontrunner in the struggle for freedom.

From then, till India gained independence, Gandhi gathered an entire nation behind him in his relentless quest. But Partition was a big blow to his dreams and ideals, and Gandhi was a sad man on the night of India's Independence.

Five months after independence, Gandhiji was assassinated by Nathuram Godse while on his way to his daily prayer meeting. The 78-year-old Father of the Nation had left a country that was just discovering its feet, orphaned. His birthday was recognised as a National holiday.

Gandhi was not just a political leader. In fact, he was never a keen politician. He was a leader of the masses and always identified himself with them. All his actions had the power to galvanise the people. When others walked out of the Assembly in protest, Gandhi walked 100 km to the sea at Dandi to make salt illegally.

In short, he would take a step that would involve the millions, a small step by itself, but which would magnify a million-fold. The British often wondered what it was about Gandhi that attracted so many to him. But the people had no such questions. They understood the way in which he identified with them. In fact, Gandhi took pains to learn to sign his name in all the major Indian languages.

Gandhi was also deeply spiritual, and believed that all religions showed the way to ultimate enlightenment. He also wrote a commentary on the Bhagavad Gita, a book that influenced him deeply.

Gandhi is also revered for his absolute belief in truth and ahimsa. It is this man's birthday that we celebrate as the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation. His tolerance for other religions and support for the downtrodden are recognised and honoured on this day.

Celebration

Mahatma Gandhi was a simple man, with simple tastes and high values. Respecting that, even though Gandhi Jayanti is a national holiday, the festivities are minimal.

A prayer meeting is held at Rajghat, Gandhi's samadhi in New Delhi. To mark the respect that Gandhi had for all the religions and communities, representatives from different religions take part in it. Verses and prayers are read out from the holy books of all the religions. Gandhi's favourite song, Raghupati Raghava, is invariably sung at all the meetings associated with him. Prayer meetings are held in various state capitals as well. Gandhi Jayanti is observed all over the country, both in government and non-government forums.

Indian National Army personnel are all military grace as they welcome Gandhi at an event at the Harijan Colony, Delhi, in 1946.

UPTU SEE Online On Campus Counselling is starting from the 26th July 2009.UPTU Counselling 2009 will be finished on 3rd September according to New UPTU counselling dates.
Based on merit/ranks in SEE-UPTU-2009, the centralized counselling will be conducted on-line through Internet in two phases.

In Phase-I, which will be UPTU off-campus on-line counselling,ends on 8th of July 2009.

UPTU WEIGHTAGE TO CANDIDATES FROM RURAL AREAS OF UP

UPTU gives weightage to the candidates from rural areas of UP in the uptu on campus counselling.

A weightage of 3% of the total marks obtained at SEE-UPTU-2009 will be given to such UPGE candidates for B.Tech./B.Pharma./B.Arch./BHMCT/BFAD /B.Tech.(Bio.Tech.) courses who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution situated in rural area of Uttar Pradesh.

For this purpose, the institutions should be situated in the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayat but the area should not be industrially developed area. Such candidates must produce the certificate no. 7 at the time of counselling.

Rural weightage is not applicable for a candidate opting any other reservation and for a candidate opting Direct Admission to Second Year.

Rural weightage is not applicable in MBA and MCA courses.

SEE UPTU COUNSELLING PROCEDURE 2009

SEE UPTU counselling procedure is divided in two phases:

Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line Counselling ( 05-07-09 TO 08-07-09)

Phase-II: On-Campus On-line Counselling ( 10-07-09 TO 17-08-09)

The counsellees will have access, through computer screen, to category-wise information relating to
(a) Number of candidates with higher merit who would have already exercised their choices.
(b) Number of higher merit holders yet to exercise their choices.
(c) Current status of branch-wise and institution-wise available seats.
The detailed procedure is described below.

Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line Counselling

1.Soon after declaration of SEE-UPTU-2009 results, candidates found eligible for counselling are required to exercise their initial choices of branches and institutions through Internet (www.uptu.nic.in) from places of their convenience. The candidates may contact the nearby Counselling Centres (CC) for availing the Internet facility free of charge.

2.A candidate has to log on to the website http://www.seeuptu.nic.in and click ‘off-campus’ counselling button on the home page.

3.Login and password prompts will appear on the computer screen. Using the instructions given on the screen, candidates are to enter the login ID and password for which admit card would be required.

4.The procedure for exercising choices or seeking other information is menu driven. It guides the candidates through appropriate messages on the computer screen.

5. Information relating to institutions, disciplines (Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management,Fashion and Apparel Design, MBA and MCA), branches (e.g. Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Mechanical Engg. etc.) and categories (UPGE or UPSC or UPBC etc.) will be available through each relevant dropdown menu for the purpose of exercising choices as well as for a feel of their competitive standing for their preferred choices among the logged-in candidates.

6.The name of counselling centre will be displayed on computer screen during Phase-I.

7. The candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times, based on the information which will appear on the computer screen. The candidates are free to consult their parents, teachers, friends and others for advice during Phase-I. The off-campus counselling will facilitate the selection of the most appropriate discipline, institution and branches / programme at candidates' rank and in their categories for submitting their final choices during on-campus counselling.

8.Choices will be processed and indicative seat allocation will be put on the web at frequent intervals. The dates of next update of indicative seat allocation will be specified on the website.

Phase-II : On-Campus On-Line Counselling

Eligible candidates will be required to report according to their Combined General Rank at only one counselling centre, which will be displayed on computer screen during Phase-I. They will have to stay there for two days. A list of counselling centres is also given in this leaflet, and is also available on the website.

DAY ONE -The Counselling Day

1.On the first day of reporting (day one) as per schedule, the candidates will proceed to the document verification counters for verification of their certificates and admit card. Candidates are required to bring all certificates in original along with one photocopy of each.

2.Thereafter the candidates will proceed to the fee collection counters. Initial deposit of Rs. 5000/- will be collected at the computerized fee counters. The deposit is to be made through a crossed demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, U. P.Technical University A/C SEE–UPTU: 2009 payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre. This amount will be transferred to the allotted institution and adjusted in the fee to be deposited there. Here it is to be noted that initial deposit will be through Crossed Demand Draft and not Account Payee.

3.The initial deposit of fees Rs. 5000/- is transferable to institution concerned where the candidate is admitted. In case, the candidate does not take admission in the college concerned for any reasons, howsoever, this deposit will be forfitted. In some cases, the initial fee may be refunded as per condition laid down in clause 16.2 of SEE-2009 brochure.

4. A Counselling fees Rs. 500/- is to be paid in shape of an ACCOUNT PAYEE demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, U. P.Technical University A/C SEE–UPTU: 2009 payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre. Please note that this amount is non-refundable and no any part of it will be refundable at any stage after the candidate has reported for on-campus on-line counselling at the counselling centre.

5.Any discrepancies related to date of birth, category, sub-category, sex and state of eligibility in the computer record generated on the basis of application form submitted earlier to SEE-UPTU-2009 by the candidate and in the original certificates will be rectified by the competent authorities at the counselling centre and their decision will be final in this regard. A printout of the modified record will be given to the candidate.

6. Any change in the candidate’s name, father’s name and the status of general category shall not be permitted under any circumstances.

7.Candidates must ensure in their own interest, that their state of eligibility, categories, sub-categories, if any, are mentioned correctly on the printout given to them.

8.After verification, the candidates will be required to exercise their final choices of seats on-line by using choice to indicate the choice of institution with Branch in order of their preference.

9.The current status of the available seats, will be continuously displayed for the guidance of candidates.

10.The candidates will get a printout for each of the choice forms submitted by them. A copy of each of these is to be signed by the candidate and returned after verification.

11.Candidates are advised to choose the college / branches taking into consideration that his choice on DAY-ONE and the subsequent allotment on DAY-TWO is once and final.

DAY TWO-The Allotment Day

1.The choices submitted through choice form on day one will be processed centrally on the following day (day two) and the list of candidates who are allotted an institution along with a branch for admission will be displayed on the website. These candidates will be called in order of Rank for the issue of seat allotment letter. The candidates must bring their copy of choice form along with fee receipt to get the allotment letter.

2.After allotment of seat the candidates are required to deposite a account payee Bank draft as part of college / institute fee Rs. 10,000/- for general & OBC category candidates and Rs. 4000/- for SC & ST category candidates at respective counselling centre within three days of issue of allotment letter, failing which the seat alloted will be cancelled. Candidate may submit the draft on the day of allotment of letter also as per his/her convenience. Draft should be drawn in favour of "Finance Officer, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow payable at city branch of applicant's counselling centre. Fee deposit at counselling centre will be adjusted towards the fee to be deposited at institute/college of admission.

3.For admission in the institute, the candidates are to report to the alloted institution upto --/--/---- along with allotment letter, photocopy of all demand drafts submitted at counselling centre and all fee receipts issued from counselling centre.
